Flatten and finish edges with a nail file to take off remaining excess. A strengthening product like Sally Hansen nailgrowth miracle or Nail Envy by OPI. Lemon Dash with a couple coats of Banana Split on the top. I use Sally Hansen Double Duty which is a strengthening polish.

sally hansen nail fileI have an amazing glass nail file. I also eat a lot of dairy and lean protein which may help with my nails but it also contributes to a huge butt! I always keep my nails polished. Start with a coat of Chip Skip or something like it to keep polish chips to a minimum. Use a base coat and quick dry and a top coat. I personally really liked this one until it became hard to find.

Sally Hansen Nail Wrap

Gelous for a base coat and Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps in clear for a top coat. It looks like your doing a good job already. Hopefully in the phot below the green flash of Lavender Envy is apparent.

sally hansen nail wrapI make the head fairly large and coat it with clear Sally Hansen Hard As Nails. Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps clear. China Glaze was recommended by Meri but that sounds like a very light color. But the Sally Hansen made them so strong. I am just keeping my nails from getting stained.
